She is the author of How I Lost My Virginity To Michael Cohen and Other Heart Stab Poems,(Sybaritic Press, 2014.) Her chapbook about the death of her son, Joshua, State of Grace: The Joshua Elegies, was published by KYSO Flash Press in October of 2015. Her latest collection, Enter Here, was published in Spring, 2017, from KYSO Flash Press. Since 2013 Alexis has been nominated for eleven Pushcart Prizes, one Best Short Fiction award, and four Best of the Net awards. She and her husband live and collaborate on the bluffs of San Pedro, CA. They have a spectacular view.
